Many of you may know Ron Love from racing at WRP, Eagle and more recently for pitting for our son, Ben in his Micro Sprint. Right now his family needs prayers...
My very good friend, Melissa (Love) McDonnell needs your prayers. She delivered a premature but otherwise healthy baby girl on Wednesday April 28th. On Friday, April 30th, Melissa was flown to UNMC in Omaha after a CT scan revealed a bleed in her brain. She will have to remain there in the ICU for up to ten days and her baby girl Makenna Nicole McDonnell will likely be in the NICU in Lincoln for 4 more days at least. Her husband, John, has been driving back and forth between the two hospitals in two cities to visit both of his girls. Please pray for all of them!! For those of you that know the LoveMcDonnell Family and would like to help out, I have set up a benefit account at West gate Bank to help them with expenses. You can go to any branch to make a deposit and the account is under the name “Melissa McDonnell, Benefit” Thanks everyone!!!

This weekend WRP will be hosting the Midwest Champions Series Go-Kart Races on both Saturday and Sunday. We will have a pit meeting each at 12 noon with hot laps and racing to follow. Driver registration cut off is 11:15 a.m.!
This will be a busy weekend with a lot of fast racing action! See you at the track!
